The Allen-Forrester Band is where straightforward American Blues Rock meets melodic Southern Rock.

Founded by New York guitarists Josh Allen and Ben Forrester, the band reinvents the classic twin-guitar sound with a style that is both soulful and electrifying, creating a modern yet timeless retro sound. Drawing inspiration from legends such as The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, and Blackberry Smoke, their music blends blues-soaked melodies, rich vocal harmonies, driving rhythms, and vintage tones into a sound that feels as authentic as it is powerful.

Since forming, Allen-Forrester Band has built a reputation as one of Europe’s rising names in modern Southern Rock, combining the spirit of classic American guitar-driven music with a fresh and contemporary approach. Their sound is rooted in feel, musicianship, and a deep respect for the records and artists that helped shape the genre.

Their self-titled debut album, released in 2023, quickly gained attention for its soaring guitar work, tight grooves, and unforgettable hooks. Songs like Knock Me Down and Burning Daylight showcase the band’s ability to craft powerful Southern Rock anthems, while tracks such as Hey Carolina and Phases Of The Moon highlight their more intimate, reflective, and story-driven songwriting. In addition to their studio work, the band has released two live EPs, Heading South and Eastbound, capturing the raw energy, chemistry, and passion that define their live performances.

Allen-Forrester Band’s sound is driven by the musical chemistry between Josh Allen and Ben Forrester. Josh brings his smoky vocals and roots-driven guitar style, while Ben adds explosive yet expressive lead guitar work that gives the band much of its dynamic edge. Backing them is the powerhouse rhythm section of Hendrik Herder on bass and Matthias Böhm on drums, laying down a thunderous groove that allows the band’s improvisational energy and musicianship to thrive. On stage, Allen-Forrester Band delivers a live experience built on musicianship, spontaneity, and pure rock ’n’ roll energy.

Following the success of their debut, the band will release their second full-length album, Red Dirt Town, on October 2nd, 2026. While staying true to the Southern Rock and Blues roots that established their sound, the new record expands the band’s musical identity by incorporating broader Americana influences and more modern Nashville-inspired songwriting, all while maintaining the vintage warmth and analog character that have become trademarks of Allen-Forrester Band.

To support the release, the band will embark on a European album release tour in October 2026, followed by another extensive European tour in March 2027. As Allen-Forrester Band continues to evolve and push their sound forward, one thing remains unchanged: their commitment to honest, powerful, guitar-driven rock ’n’ roll made by real musicians, played with passion, and built to connect with audiences everywhere.
